Chainsaw Carving Event Gravenhurst

During the third weekend in February come to Gravenhurst at Terry's Independent Grocer East Parking Lot and enjoy the 2nd Annual Muskoka Chainsaw Carving Event.  There are 21 Carvers in total and also meet African Carving Team from Nigeria.  The admission is $2 and there is a silent auction for you to enjoy.

Trio Hockelaga, Winter Carnival and more at Opera House

 Trio Hockelaga Presented by the MCA with Cello, Violin & Piano held on February 22nd at 8pm. 
The Gravenhurst Winter Carnival is held the last weekend in February each year.  Gravenhurst is located only 2 hours from Toronto.  The events are "Running Shoes on Febuary 25th ( Mainstage).
February 26th Pancake Breakfast at Trillium Court and then at 1pm - 3pm enjoy childrens activities.
On March 10th enjoy Barney Bentall and Kevin Fox Double Bill at 8pm.  All seats are $25.

Pirate Fest in Gravenhurst, Ontario

A full day of Pirate Fun at the Muskoka Wharf in Gravenhurst.  Gravenhurst is located north of Orillia and south of Bracebridge off Hwy 11 in Muskoka, Ontario.
A fun day with face painting, pirate games, crafts, petting zoo, air bounce, scavenger hunts, costumer contest, live music, performances on Chay Stage, waterski show, free admission to Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre only if you are in your best scallywag outfit.
Come enjoy the parade at the Muskoka boat and Heritage Centre at 10am and boat cruises from 10am -5pm.
Also enjoy the evening cruise for adults only in full costume.

Gravenhurst Farmers Market in Muskoka, Ontario

Most tourists visit Muskoka and the Almaguin Highlands every year for Ontario Cottage Rentals.  Danette Evely has been running a Cottage Rental business in the Almaguin Highlands over the past ten years and is amazed year after year with the number of tourists coming to the area.
I have always enjoyed informing tourists about the fun attractions in both the Muskoka and Almaguin Highlands area. 
Every Wednesday for the whole summer you can go to the Muskoka Wharf Special Events Field from 9am - 2pm and enjoy the Gravenhurst Farmers Market.  Enjoy over 80 farmers and artisans and enjoy yummy fruits and vegetables all grown in Ontario.  Choose from a wide variety of things to include sewing, painting, jewellery, leather work, photography, fresh trout, smoked trout, bird houses, jams, jellies, carnberries, bread, baking, woodworking, smoked meat, maple syrup, honey and apples.
